The Rocky Mountain Beagle Club was organized in 1991 and is dedicated to the advancement and preservation of quality beagles through a mutual desire for the best interests of the breed.

The Club’s objectives are:

bullet

To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred beagles and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;

bullet

To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which beagles shall be judged;

bullet

To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials;

bullet

To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows and obedience trails under the rules of the American Kennel Club; and

bullet

To actively support a beagle rescue effort.

The Rocky Mountain Beagle Club is based in Denver and holds general membership meetings on a monthly basis, during the Club’s official year. It also produces a Web site that includes information for anyone owning a beagle or thinking of getting one.  It is an active club united by a common love of beagles and a concern for the welfare of the breed.

Membership dues for the Club are $10.00 per Regular member or $12.50 per Household, per year.
